			<description><![CDATA[ Well, Spring is here at last and I&#39;ve finally cleared enough room in the garage to get the car in. Old Pinto engine has sold on e bay in bits (I didn&#39;t
realise what a good engine it was till I pulled it apart, 285 cam, ported head, vernier pulley and lightweight flywheel) and I got more for it than I paid for
the 2.8 V6 that&#39;s replacing it !

Don&#39;t have time to fit the EFI system so am using a 38dgas. Engine has a 270/285 cam and has been dynamically balanced, total cost... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ been out wasting money again - got hold of a zetec mondeo with exellent engine,sorted out the pats and ecu etc and am now ready to pull the engine out. Looks
like quite an easy swap using the type-9 box. However when I come to supercharging I know the standard box won&#39;t be up to it so I&#39;m going to sort out
the box next. Has anyone used the mt75 in a martina? seems like a cheap option once it&#39;s been rebuilt no-one seems to know if the chassis from the bulkhead
back is the same as... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Ok, finally put pics on the photo forum.I bought the car with 350 gen miles on the clock with all mot's ( I'm the second owner) then promptly drove it 200miles back from Essex in the sleet and rain-first time the car had ever got wet- It turned into quite a journey but the car ran faultlessly until I decided to give it some head 4 miles from home when the throttle jammed open- the new carb had not been greased enough , however fortunately I didn't die . I'm looking to fit a twin pipe system to mine and would like 2 twin pipes exiting at rear. most of these seem to be called 'DTM' and having looked at a few I've discovered that most of the ones on e bay or at tune up shops are not much good. firstly they are mostly 'back-boxes' and what's needed is a single silencer system. best ones I've found so far are for old type minis. they are not so loud, have a nice... ]]></description>

I don't know if the Martina bonnet even fits straight on but I see no reason why not.  It is not an immediate need but if the right thing came along at the right price I could go for it.
