TS250, TS500 & TSO

Help please

The boot on the TS500, which would not lock over night on Saturday, is now locked shut with all our gear inside. Before I get too heavy with it does anyone know if there is a failsafe release hidden anywhere?

Central locking is playing up and there is an overheated relay affecting ignition and fuel supply but these can be managed in the short term.

It's mine now! So I will be at Curborough after all (assuming none of the potential mechanical gremlins strike!).

Rescued it from a showroom full of TVRs! Only done the long motorway trek back from Hexham to Watford so far but all went well. May not get out in it again before Curborough.

Not only wanted to be driving a car this year but also wanted to get back to a spyder. It's not the end for puple haze though, she will be finished and cherished and then it will...

Drove a TSO on Saturday

Spent some time at David Gerald's on Saturday picking up my car. They very kindly suggested that as they had been working on and driven my Mantara, I try their TSO!! Who could refuse.

My impressions? Awsome power and huge torque, It has a six speed box but in third it will go from 15mph to 135 (I am told) with amazing ease. The cabin is very cramped for my larger size but will fit most people. It has a he-man clutch and feather light very efficient brakes which is very confusing...

I read this on PistonHeads and wondered what you thought?

The TSO was in development for a long time, and just when it was almost useable they pulled the plug.

It's strange because all the press loved the car, and only mentioned a few niggles with the car. It look's great, and has a reliable engine.

The problems I could see is with the price, it was too expensive, and seemed stingy on standard kit.

The 7 Nov 2007 edition of Autocar has a roadtest of the TSO against the Morgan Aero 8. Even though Marcos went under whilst they were testing it they are actually pretty flattering to the Marcos.

I left my details with my local (ish) dealer back in March to say let me know when you get a production car in. I had heard nothing so I dropped in last week as I was in the area.

No Marcos's to be seen, so I asked the sales man, who admitted he had only been their 3 months, and said I would need to speak to their main man.

He was out, I said I had left my details in the past and no one had got back to me, and with that they just let me walk out with out asking for my name or...

Anybody see the TSO GT2 on vroom vroom tonight.? Being compared to a Viper, TSO quicker 50-70 by half a second odd. Looked really good.

There is a SOLD production TSO Taga top at the Sports Car show which looks quite nice. Had a chat with the bloke but there are no plans for a soft top in the near future.

Im surprised that the boot is small compared with a Mantis, and if you put the taga roof pannels in the boot it gets even smaller!

When you add up the cost of a fully equiped sport suspension Traga top the cost is around 65,000.

This dealer has take the 1st production car according to Evo mag, and customer cars will follow. There is a 2 page review of the car but not many decent photos, and it gets 4 out of 5 stars.

Many worth while features in the 100th edition with F40, Zonda, Mclaren, Veron and many others to dribble over.

I went today to visit David Gerald @#%$ (sorry didn't mean to swear but hear me out please) in Inkberrow Worcestershire, not to see the T%&*^!R's BUT to see, in the flesh, the latest road-going TSO.
David Gerald are top quality organisation which has been around for years, has a damn good reputation for their work and service and NOW they are agents for Marcos, working closely with Tony S and..... Doug Elwood, who I talked to at length, is keen to offer service and restoration work...
