Mounting craddle is in production as I type.The front is either going to be custom made in Berkshire by one of the hot rod houses or bought in from the states possibly from TCI 'total cost... ]]>

I got a few days to get long term boxes stashed away in the roof, no mean feat when you consider there is already a car in bits up there.

			<description><![CDATA[ The rear body mods were completed in early March 2009, doors, rear screen, roll bar and new seat have been fitted back into the car. Work has started on the
front as the new wider track wishbones make the front wheels stick out a further 3&quot; from the bonnet line than they did before. Work is progressing

			<description><![CDATA[ What seems to be different is the position of the manifolds and the oil filter on that side at least. I cannot even begin to imagine how to bring a chassis
rail forward from out of the tunnel area so that I can come up off the new rail to site an engine mount. There isn&#39;t any room.The exhaust headers are
pretty snug as it is. But thats a 3 inch down pipe which will have to be cut and turned through 90 degrees so the exhausts go out through the footwells and
down the underside of the door... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I was working lates last week. Nowt happened in the garage on Friday, and I didn&#39;t get back home from work until 01.30 Saturday morning as a pub got in the
way.

Saturday, late start to everything as pub got in the way late Friday evening.  Eventually got down the Shed and got to work on Gigantor, plus a Ford Mustang
which has to be finished by next Wednesday. (A promise made is a debt unpaid, or so the say.)

I have been cutting more box section today.  That will be located tomorrow.

Then its a case of cutting away the glass fibre, (I hate glass fibre dust)  and seeing how far in the engine will go. I am hoping to get a first engine fit by
Friday. Then I can say I have achieved somthing this year already.

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve made up a floor hinged pedal assembly for my car, frees up loads of room at the top of the footwell as all the cylinders and linkages are on the floor
now.

Took me a few months to fabricate it, but you can buy decent assemblies for not a huge sum of money.

			<description><![CDATA[ Is now wnabout (cant remember exactly but) there is a vertical piece of box section which is the inside corner to the front of the footwells, and the top
chassis rails have been moved out to that location from there the engine bay will in effect slop doe in a &#39;vee&#39; shape mimicking the engine but will
have a 6 to 8 inch extra width at the top, without compromising to much on foot space. The Pedal Carriage assembly in the drivers foot well, will have to be a
different arrangement. I did... ]]></description>

I looked into using the TKO &#39;box and would have gone for it if the budget had allowed! One problem I had was the additional length of the Tremec box as I
am moving my engine back. The R380 box it would have replaced is approx 500mm long whereas the TKO is 631mm (I&#39;ve got some pdfs with all dimensions &amp;
shift points for TKO 600 &amp; T56 somewhere if you need, I think they are on the Tremec website somewhere). Your diff alignment is probably better than mine

			<description><![CDATA[ Well its got everything to do with the position of the engine and the position of the gearbox in relation to where the gearstick comes out of the hole in the
tunnel. The TKO 600 has choices, the T56 from memory doesn&#39;t.
