I was refering to the parade of classics that we were invited to participate in in 2004, 10 cars from 10 clubs wasn't it? that drive in convoy to Le mans town with the Harley escort. This year there were a few ancient (1920's? Citroens, De Dion Bouton, Renault, several morgans, a VERY nice Auburn and a few others that escape my memory but certainly far far less than previous years, in fact there may well have been more Harleys than cars

Suprisingly quite a few Marcos at Saint Saturnin, I spotted an LM and a couple of Mantis' including a fliptone one. Also saw a French registered wooden chassis 1600? and Mike Andrew's Mantis.

Great weather but for some reason there was a very poor turn out in the parade, I wasn't counting but I would have said there were only about 30 and several of them were...

I assumed you'd be parked at the side of the road just south of Calais on the approach to a roundabout, fruitlessly trying to start the Mantis, all the while weeping gently into an oily rag....

EEEEErrr for someone who doesnt even get his arse up from Cause to Le Man I think thats fighting talk young man. For you information the pedal box has all been changed and someone of eeer shorter stature will not even find the pedals. By the way have you found your new car yet!!!!

Here's another Dunkerque crossing on the Thursday !!

We stay down south at Angers. It seems as though there will a decent group of Marcosii at St. Saturnin on Friday - look forward to meeting up.

I hope that glovebox catch doesn't let me down this year !!!

Well 2010 will be the LM600 spiritual home coming will be its year!! cannot wait, like the LM400 i got

enormous pleasure and pride finally bringing this car to the in a way, spiritual home ground and whats more special than the LM600 doing the infamous lap of the Le man race circuit !! kind of seals the cars birth right in a way!!

Yep, I'm going too. Taking the Marcos for the first time with my wife. My parents are in France and we're meeting up with them. Really looking forward to it. I just hope global warming doesn't let us down and comes up trumps with the weather! We're staying at Sarthe which looks to be south-east of the centre of Le Mans so no camping this time.
