        <![CDATA[ Is it still on as not much has been mentioned on this Forum and only just over a week away.


I will certainly be there but as you know my project is still just a project and will only be watching again this year but already looking forward to getting a
few close peeks under the bonnets of the various models to pinch a few ideas.


Hopefully if the Curbouough Sprint Circuit is still in existence in 2010 my Marcos will make a return to the track once more,

weekend. Considering the weather forecast wasn&#39;t very promising at the beginning of the week, I think we were all very lucky with how the day turned out.

I would like to mention Bill Smith with his wooden chassis 1600 who really was the true winner of the day in my opinion, as he showed us all how it should be

			<description><![CDATA[ I tool the liberty of photographing the results board at the end of the day, these should be considered as &#39;unofficial&#39;. While the late run of Dave
Parslow&#39;s 4.6 litre Mantula at 57.73s just pipped Richard&#39;s immaculate Mantis GT, I still think Bill Smith&#39;s performance in his 1600 road legal
racer must be inspiration to many owners - and shows just how good the original wooden chassis cars can be given a tight twisty course. These three were the

If you want to take part in the track event, it&#39;s £20 per driver and you can pay RJP on the day.
<br>
Or just chill out in the MOC Lounge and chat about cars n stuff, if you turn up early I&#39;m told there is another event on but you can still get access to
park for free. The track is &#39;Brown signed&#39; on A34 North just near Lichfield, and if like me you&#39;ll meet other Marcos&#39;s driving up n down the
lane trying to find it,... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ The Lm600 may not be there? as although you all know the exterior and interior is basically complete the handling and engine are not!  New shocks are on order
as the existing ones are knackered! the engine just is not very responsive either at the moment! it runs but is not set up properly! so if the shocks arrive
and are fitted in time it should be ok, but definately will not drive her around the track as it is!  watch this space!! ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ OK - I have the answer - I refreshed the browser and the date changed from June to July. Something to do with web design I guess, maybe it just buffers the old
info and somehow the fact that the page has been updated doesn&#39;t register.  There must be a way around this.
