I've put a few snaps on the Mini Marcos site at http://www.minimarcos.org.uk/sport/lmclassic08/ All of the Minis are shown somewhere (and all of the TSO!). I've included all the Marcoses I found on other stands.

Exeriences you can only have at an event like this.... On the way down we stopped for a coffee, whilst watching the world go by we decided we would only set off again when another Marcos went past, in the UK we would have been there forever but in France sure enough two went past - thanks Isobel! So we walk back to the cars and as we are getting in two Mini Marcos go past. We set off and within a few hundred yards the two Mini Marcos have turned around and are coming back towards us so we...

Have to say that Maggie and me both had a great time, I was surprised by her interest and I think she may have the bug ! If I can fix the car i might get her to attend a few other things too.
Big thanks to Isobel for all she did and nice to meet at last, and to Mr Quiff and Jonny Brookes who seems to appear in all my photos, don't think he moved from the stand all weekend !

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who stayed or visited over the Le Mans Classic weekend. Sometimes we do feel we are missing out on some great Marcos events now we live in France but it is weekends like this that make up for it. Hope to see you all again in 2 years' time or of course if anyone is coming over for the 24hr next year.

A big thank you to Isobel for organising the tickets - as usual we couldn't have done it without her.

Found her some excellent Video´s & pictures of the LM weekend. Fantastic video´s from day & night, pits & different corners & inside car video´s including some spins.

By the way on the "Sunday video" at 1:20 you see the green Mini Marcos behind a Ferrari. We went at 5:00 AM to Mulsanne corner and could see live that this Mini Marcos could overtake the Ferrari. Was worth to be there in the early morning.

Had no internet for 3 weeks now, but all the "German - Luxembourg" teams had a perfect trip back home. For the 6 continental teams we want to say many many thanks to all the people helped to arrange the LMC 2008, especially Isobel for all the work they had with our tickets and all the things around this event.

It was like LMC 2006 a great weekend with this year even more cars on the track and on the Bugattic circuit. Will put my pics this weekend in the internet and we...

Well, I do feel smug as I suggested that may be the problem but didn't know where to locate it.
Just to add to this it's something worth checking, mines got a copper pipe and seems to me it's just waiting to fail

Both got safely home, around 0430, on the next LD Line ferry to Newhaven; very nice boat seemingly. Problem with the pipe to the oil pressure gauge, eventually by-passed and back on the road. Only missed our ferry by a few minutes, due to getting caught in traffic.

That's a shame as I was walking round with a Pass to the Enclosure I was trying to swap for a parking space outside, but someone told me not to bother as there were spare Passes available !

I've asked him to send me one but, to be honest, there's more chance of me turning up at a Marcos event than there is of him sending me a photo. I think the technology confuses his little brain.......

2008 sees the next Classic Le Mans, & is also the 50th Anniversary of Marcos (almost).
