I have to work on one of the cars this weekend if I get the chance.
Any help with this matter would be very gratefully appreciated.
Regards.

Surprisingly this is turning into an urgent request. A bit of a long shot! |

Has anyone got any internal cockpit photographs particularly of the doors ( or with the door panels visible ) of the Sauber Mercedes group C, Le Man Cars that
raced at said track between 1989 and 1991in particular car 61.

I blew the weekend away. Partying. It was my birthday on Thursday. People wouldn't stop coming round or phoning up and inviting Liz and me out. By Sunday I
was pooped. So the car didn't get finished, a bit like the Marcos, now I am going to get the evil eye on Wednesday evening cos I got nowt to show this
month

I was just having a poke around in the Thames Valley website when I found the last photo in one of the albums with the caption
"And I have a feeling this is foreign. (I might have uncovered a few of Isobels pictures here, oops)"
http://picasaweb.google.com/tvmarcos/ThamesValleyGroupActivityThings/photo#5143085708315576578 Yep, what you have there is a photo of a 1970 Volvo engined 3 litre which resides in Auckland New Zealand, with the personalised plate MARCOS. More shots of it (and other NZ and Aussie Marcos) on my website http://www.freewebs.com/marcosgt/monzacars.htm (I really must get around to some overdue updates). I've just sent the owner a link also. Feel free to contact me through my website if you wish to. Cheers Jeff

Jeff,
That link didn't work and I couldn't get onto the Thames Valley Group through the CMI site. How did you do it? Brian |

Gidday Brian
hmmm not sure why that doesn't work as a link . . . but if you cut & paste into your browser address line it will take you there. Otherwise go to the CMI site and then to members and then committee . . . in the area organisers section is a link to the Marcos Thames Valley Album. Its last in an album of 55 photos from 11 Dec 2007 (Thames Valley group, activity things) Cheers Jeff |

Thanks Jeff,
I finally found it - I wasn't even aware that the albums were there- quite interesting. I sent a copy of that photo to Isabel when I joined CMI and I think it appeared in the magazine one time. Cheers Brian |
