Happy Birthday!
So who was the 1st user after Mr Q then? I know this forum has been invaluable to me and must have started around the time I brought my 1st Marcos, but I can not remember how I found the Forum!?!? Thanks to Mr Q for all the hard work. |

The first user was Brian Jones, who registered 12-June-2002, however, he hasn't been seen (on that login) since 29-Oct-2003! The second user, snowman, registered a day later & last posted 18-May-2008 - that's staying power! Mosts posts... me (understandably! You lot need keeping under control!), followed by Zeke, then you Gary!

What! 3rd in the most posts, I dont believe it! Must be keeping my Thames Valley group under control rather than breakdowns!!!!
Can you tell when I joined as I can not find out! Poor Mr Imelda, did not even get a mention, and to think Mr snowmans car has been off the road most of that time =) |

Happy Birthday and congratulations. This is a great place to find & share Marcos information and is becoming widely heralded as the main place to come if
you are interested in Marcos. Keep up the good work.

I think we should all buy Mr Q a beer at Le Mans Classic, just so he will remember the weekend!

Happy birthday us
I remember joining the week I got the car almost 4 years ago (maybe?), I just wish that I'd had better news throughout my ownership experience... Reading back through some of my old posts, it has not been plain sailing... maybe this year is THE year! Thanks Q for this resource. |

A stirling effort Q, happy anniversary !
It has been a lifeline to me as my first 6 months of ownership during which I had much to do and I didn't see another Marcos or meet another owner - but by the wonders of the web it is almost like we live down the road from each other. It is especially valuable now we can share photo's in the threads. Do you know how many Marcos cars are represented by the users of the Forum - and what proportion that is of the surviving cars ? Steve
There's a lot of talk these days about green transport. Well, I am ahead of the game, I already have green transport ... British racing green.

OldNoccer wrote: Thanks Steve. Good question here, erm... if we assume that the one or two people with more than one Marcos (the mad fools/lucky buggers) are balanced out
by the odd enthusiast with no actual Marcos vehicle, then that's about 300 cars. As to what proportion of surviving cars that represents... I couldn't
even guess how many are left; maybe John Brookes (MOC) or Isobel (CMI) can comment?
