I am currently looking for a set of original Marcos wheels for a 1969 3.0 Litre V6 wooden chassis GT Coupe - generally in silver with the Marcos logo cut out

he's having trouble shifting them!!)

Come on Cool Mart, our man here is after 1970 wheels - which I am guessing are 13inchers, these are super modern 17inch spindly jobs. He's probably after
Cosmics, or the other ones...
You have reminded me I was going to start a thread on wheel types (now that we can all post piccies on the forum) - must do that. I have a collection of pictures of wheels from the rally this year, and from Marcos brochures. Thought I might post a thread for original wheel types, names, sizes. Steve

What Jeremy is after are the same mags as are on my car . . .

Well.. I am no expert, but it is the offset of the mounting face from the vertical centre AFAIK, as per piccie that I lifted from somewhere and stored on my PC
some time ago (apologies for not saying where it came from, but it is lost in the mists of time). While it dictates where the wheel lies with respect to the
bodywork, you are also concerned about where the load on the wheel is placed with respect to the wheel bearings. Ideally it is central, so I expect positive
offset is normal - but any experts, feel free to pipe-up and correct me !
