Hi , can any one shine any light on which car the heater control valve is taken / used from ?? ( 3 lt v6 the one type that screws in to the rear of the inlet
manifold) .
There are quite a few on e bay but i dont want to end up buying one that does not fit . Any ideas ???

Hi Mark
It is from a Series III Land Rover. Follow this link to buy one. http://search.stores.ebay...QQsaselZ110608546QQsofpZ0 As fitted you need to cut the end off the outlet pipe. I am looking to get made an extension piece to lift it up a bit ( as on the Land Rover, but that is too long). If I get a source would you be interested ? Richard |

hi Richard ,
i did see that on e bay and did think the same but just was not sure ....and the best bit is that is in great yarmouth where i live !!!!! .As for lifting it up a bit i was speaking to another marcos owner who got a adaptor off the shelf so to speek from a place in norwich just down the road from me .... if you look on his site you can see wot he has done (and its a good site to view any how ) http://www.marcos-restoration.net/ regards mark |

Hi Mark.
I have since found that the thread is a standard plumbing size. If you take the Valve to a good Plumbing supplier he can give you the correct brass fitting to make it fit perfectly. Richard |
