my 2.0 turbo has been giving me problems starting and is getting worse it turns over fine ,the pump seems to pressurize the fuel system and there is a spark
but it does not start if I leave it for about 10 to 15 minutes it normally will fire up and does not give a problem when driving. it has been in my local
garage for a week where it started every time .But after only one day at home it would not start new plugs and magnecore leads fitted to no avail any advice

I had a similar problem that escalated to the engine cutting out completely.
I found that I had a lose lead in a small connector block. One of these leads ran down to the starter solenoid - just trace back from the starter solenoid to the connector block and check that you don't have a loose connection. The fix was to crimp the incoming lead with the outgoing lead outside of the small connector block - job done and no further problems. Good luck vic |
