Thank you Socramsnalla, that is very useful. I'm aware the chassis is one to watch and apparently the one Jeremy has at the moment is just suffering some surface rust but has been waxoyled regularly. Still I'd check into that further if I were to go ahead.

You spoke about ding'ing one of your CATs and I remember this used to be one of the big issues with my old V6. I even remember once on some very evil speedbumps I ended up getting completely wedged. I actually had to get my passenger to vacate so the car would lift slightly and move off! Although you obviously need to watch the very harsh bumps how does the thing do on a steep incline? I'm thinking specifically of the sort of steep ramps you find on ferries and on some multi-story car parks.

I agree the lack of posts is encouraging, especially considering there were well over 100 cars made from what I can tell. A trip to the V4/V6 section is a whole different story and reading through some of the posts there in the last few days has brought back some not so pleasant memories!
