Aha ! You have reminded me what the other job was for today - check the pads in case someone has stuffed some racing ones in. But it turns out they are MGB633 M1144, in Type 16 Girling calipers fitted with spacers, with 245mm diameter 20mm thick vented discs (Capri 2.8i dimensions). I reckon that seems bog standard - I suppose it is possible something may have got on them - but they look OK and it pulls up straight.

I am confused by the fact the servo is only applied to the front, surely that will change the front/back balance quite dramatically. If the balance is right to start, then surely it is better applied to all brakes. On the other hand I have rear disks too (Sierra IRS), so maybe changing the balance forward wouldn't do any harm. Shame I don't have a dual-circuit system with balance bar.
