Still on a high after the most incredible weekend ever. But let's start with the journey home, with 5 Marcos in convoy, heading south through Winchcombe to the A40. Not content with having been at a hill climb all day, the Satnav decided that we'd like to partake off a few more runs, at least five, up and down, with the roads narrowing by the minute and lots of grounding for most of us, and, for the 1800 at least, a first gear up hill corner. The sight of 4 'Corgi' models disappearing up-hill through the trees was quite special; one green, one blue, one red and one @!%$!%; why does this 'colour' look as if I'm swearing?. But you know you could be in trouble when the road starts to grow grass in the middle.... Never been so glad to see a main road!

A personal thank you from me to all those who attended, with great company throughout, the best display (probably ever) of Marcos, not forgetting the Costin and the Probe, and so many old and new faces, quite mind blowing. Remember, without you, there is no event. Great to see so many stalwarts of the Marque, including you Jem...

A few memorable moments for me. A humble thank you for the presentation on Saturday, and yes Roger, I was almost stuck for words. The chance to welcome so many international visitors. Just the variety of Marcos on display. And the icing on the cake was being taken up the hill in the XP, my Corgi model come to life with me sat inside it, hurtling round the corners at quite an astonishing rate. A truly awesome experience and thanks Ned for the opportunity. Still smiling!!

If you know of anyone who attended, it might be you, who didn't sign on, i.e. did not go up the hill at any time, let me know as we want to get a full list of attendees. We'll also put this in the club mags.

With that, good night....
