Hello Everybody, It was a real delight to see so many of you at the celebration at Prescott. I did in fact do an interview with Nick Upton on the PA system but unfortunately it wasn't working particularly well and very few people heard it! So on behalf of Marcos Heritage and the three Marcos clubs, I would like to thank everyone for making the event such a memorable occasion. Special thanks to Jem and for his wonderful book, thanks to Marcos designer's Peter Adams and his brother Dennis who could unfortunately not attend, and to Leigh Adams who followed the family tradition and did such excellent work on the later cars - without whom the event probably wouldn't have taken place. Thanks to Cor Euser, the Bordet brothers, Barry Sewell, Michael Royson, Warren at Topcat, and all of the other race cars drivers who provided us with such a wonderful display showing the racing pedigree of the cars through the years. A big thank you to all the ex-employees who attended - Stan Gray, Terry Sanger, Graham Coombes, Brian Cunnington to name but a few, and to all the helpers, marshals, and fellow organisers. A very special thank you to Ned, Chris and Roberta Morris owners of the Mantis XP, who did such a wonderful job of restoring the car and bringing it home for the 50th Anniversary - Ned you have made a lot of people very happy and very envious! Many many thanks. And finally to everyone who turned up to help us celebrate 50 years of a great true British sports car. Kind Regards Rory Marcos Heritage.
