You know the car from Cholmondeley, and since then it has been lightened (I finally ripped out the collapsing headlining !). Steve There's a lot of talk these days about green transport. Well, I am ahead of the game, I already have green transport ... British racing green.

Registered Member Posts: 397 Sun, 7-Sep-2008 20:29	Well done Jon, By my reckoning, 13 out of 15 Marcos cars turned up in spite of the awful weather, and 9 or 10 of those must have gone on track (at least one went out twice) even though it was so slippery it was scary to watch. I don't regret my decision not to go out - when I got home I found why the car had been steaming up so bad. It had a leak on the heater hose that got in the passenger footwell. There was a pint of free water under the passenger seat and another pint soaked in the carpet and my change of clothes. No wonder it was like a suana with added anti-freeze - but at least the car made the trip, and it is easily fixed. Entry and free refreshment in the BRDC clubhouse was a real treat on an otherwise chilly and wet day (like so many events this year). When you consider the thousands of people at the show, and we were almost the only people in the club house - a real privilege. If this is an example of the re-born Marcos Owners Club, then I look forward to some more of the same. Many Thanks Steve There's a lot of talk these days about green transport.
