As far as i was aware the big evening do was to be at the lodge, for which i have booked and paid for,does it seem now that there is to be two venues. If
someone can clear this up i would be much obliged,....

Richard and Katie organised a meal for people to go to and the deal with the Cheltenham Regency Hotel before the meal at Prescott was mentioned.
I was booked in at the Hotel but now the main event for sat night is at Prescott i changed my plans to be there. |

Yes Boycey there are 2 venues for the meal on Saturday night. But bearing in mind the numbers likely to attend this momentus occasion is the Prescott venue
large enough to cater for everyone who may want a meal?
Does anyone using this forum have any idea how many people are wanting to have a meal on the Saturday night? |

We certainly intend to be there and are booked at the meal organised by Richard. Was just trying to justify why there are 2 venues, ie could the venue at
Prescott have coped with everybody who might have wanted an evening meal

Me and Mandy are staying at the Cheltenham Regency Hotel, but we have booked to have the buffet meal at Prescott Lodge on the Saturday night I assumed that was

with the onslaught! We really ALL need to be together at the same time as there is only one 50th anniversary !

The latest update for the evening meal on Saturday is that everyone who was going to have the meal at the Cheltenham Regency Hotel are now going to Prescott
Lodge instead. However, there will still be a meal on the Friday evening at the Regency and if anyone would like to join this they should contact the
Cheltenham Regency Hotel direct on 01452 713226 and say they wish to book for the Marcos Club meal for Friday 14th August at 8.00pm.

I for one am glad that this 'confusion' appears to be sorted out. Please note that places for the meal at the Lodge are going very quickly, and I mean
quickly! To avoid disappointment you do need to book straight away. There's booking online on the Marcos Anniversary website, or forms to download or use
the one that came with your latest club magazines.

For what it is worth I'll be there over the 3 days, booking arranged with the lady Isobel. In complete ignorance of this blog and being a cheapskate I have
booked in at a farmhouse in the wilds about Cheltenham for 2 nights (at £36 p.n.). Hope to see you there in the 70's Mantis. Don't want to subject the
Mantula to the hillclimb with it having a repaired chassis so expect to be a spectator.
