still looking awesome...
question on the undertray.. are you going to have it all sealed up so it's functional as a ground spoiler or leave it as is?

i think it will be left as it is, the rear of the car is going to have a carbon fibre rear diffuser with the vains either side of the rear exhaust box section.
the last job i reckon.

Yes the Ace cafe will be her 1st official show off venue!! i keep banging on about this but.......... all these pics i take really do not do the car justice,
in the flesh it is so much more dramatic and so wide!!! and this orange paint job i chose in real life has far more depth in colour and very relective!!!

Hi Rayne, yes the gaps have already been meshed over, by Fri THIS week, the exterior will be pretty much finished!! i will get some more pics and the interior
should be started next week, the front headlamp covers have been tinted, and a black boarder has been painted round the inside of the covers also, but they
where not fitted when i last took the pics as above, so this fri i will take some pics of front, side and rear angles for you all.

LM600 update | #93 | ||
|
Hello yet again, been to have a look today, the exterior is now finished, and they are busy preparing and working on the interior, at this stage the dash board
has been removed and a new carbon fibre one is now made and modified, it will not look like the standard dash board layout, i have decided on a different
switch set up, it will look very nice!! although the dials will remain the same, it will have no stereo no heater no air con either so we have done away with
the ford temprature dial section ( going free if you want it!) but instead we are going to put a brushed ali starter button in the middle then the fog light
and door openers and heated screen buttons in its place. The carbon fibre seats are now bolted in and the orange harnesses installed, look really good against
the carbon!. The steering column is going to be raised slightly, to allow more leg room and bridge a gap between the coloumn and the dash board, the door
panels are not ready yet but will be soon, the carpets are going to be made early next week going for black that are rubber backed and also has a slight grey
fleck in the weave., the transmission tunnel and top of the dash will be in black alcantara with lots of orange stitching for the carpets and alcantara. The
wiring in the dash is a complete mess!! loads of wires connected to the main loom that have been previously cut and taped and a single orange LED light stays
on with the ignition on we have no idea what that could be, was behind the dash!! but an Auto electrician is having a look this Thursday. So 2-3 weeks looks
set to be completeion, i will send some pics to Gary tues.

Well Boycey, the car is looking very impressive and I love the colour, good to see that you have adopted the "less is more" approach and deleted the
"soft" options of Air Con, Heater and Stereo! Who needs them anyway and think of the weight and power drain you have saved!
It`s not more power you need, it`s less weight and a few subtle mods and some not so subtle!

Yes I have, but if you are referring to the non essential carbon add on`s, it wouldn`t be my preference either, but if that`s the owners preference that is
all that matters.

In the same way...that last photo... does the roof vent remind you of anyone? |

Update 24th April | #98 | ||
|
The latest installment.. met up with the auto electrician last night at the body shop and all sorted, the orange led light was an old alarm, all the other
odd wires etc was the old alarm system also now unused and has been thrown away, all the other little nigley bits have been sorted so its back to full steam
ahead on the interior, the dash board is looking supurb especially with the new push button layout in the middle the original smiths dials are the same but
underneath in the centre is the brushed ali push start button, then it has 3 smaller push buttons to each side of that also. they illiuminate blue when the
ignition is turned on. The trimmers are coming next week to make up the carpets and trim the transmission tunnel and dash, so after that there will be a few
small jobs needed but essentially the car is about 80% complete as of today. The wheels are getting a respray as they got damaged on the low loader (car is
that wide!!) not managed to get pics to gary yet but i will, the exterior shots i may as well wait until the rear wing is on and the other odd jobs done like
rubber extrusions around the doors and boot are finished and get her outside in the sun to really show what a georgous colour this car is!.

interior update | #99 | ||
|
Going to have a look this Fri to see how the interior is coming along, the main dash board will be fitted and all buttons, dials will be installed and working,
the seats are bolted in, the harnesses are fitted and so really it only leaves the door cards, the carpet and transmission tunnel and top of the dash to be
trimmed. the interior roof lining is also going to be re trimmed. I will send a pic to Gary H early next week, showing the NEW dashboard layout etc just
waiting for the rear carbon wing to be fitted and the headlamp covers etc and the exterior is all done and again i will get pics 2 weeks looks set for the big
day!
