Hi Rayne
The wing mirrors are bolted in place and cannot be moved, when you open the doors the mirrors open with them, but the glass is adjustable by pushing it! not really going to see alot out of them anyway!!! the car is bloody wide and when you sit in it all you see is huge air vents and wheel arch! Luuuuuuuuuuuuurly |

trim, and some other odd minor jobs, the rear wing will be fitted last, that will be the money shot!!! a rear shot of her with the wing on will make a few
front pages!!

ahhhh thankyou brian and martyn, i will just do a couple of more pics of the interior as none of you have actually seen the interior transformation yet, but
the interior also looks very impressive and much more modern looking, when the trimmers have finished i will then upload the final set of pics the top of the
dash board by the way is going to be done in black alcantara trim with orange stiching down the centre of the dash ( 2 parallel lines of stiching) about
3" apart, the carbon fibre seats have now been laquerd so very polished finish looking and the backs of the seats have been painted and laquerd the same
as the car just looks totally stunning!!! especially with the orange and black racing harness fitted!!! the brushed ali buttons on the carbon fibre dash
also look very nice and it actually looks much better without the stereo and heater control layout!!.
I would just like to also take this opportunity to say a BIG THANKYOU to the following who if it was not for them this would not have been possible!!. firstly Gary Harman!! the one who 1st told Richard P about Cor Eusor who 1st contacted Gary selling the car! Richard P who knew straight away that the LM600 had me written all over it!! and phoned straight away about the car coming up for sale!! Geoff Philips who came over to the Neatherlands with Gary and Richard to inspect the car with me and talk me into it!! Cor Eusor after i convinced him that I WAS THE MAN to buy this car !! Revrie Carbon fibre specialists for taking on the project of making all the carbon fibre bits on the car and a special thankyou to Martin Green the very talented man who took upon the massive task of transforming and restoring this amazing car into what it is today. I had the vision and ideas but Martin has made this happen he truly is passionate about this car and you will be able to meet him at the 50th (he is that proud of the car) And finally THANKYOU for all your very supportive comments over the past 6 months, i had never gave up on this car, it has ended up costing over £25k to get her where she is today, but it is a one off and is a very important part of Marcos history i cannot wait to get her on the road and start showing her, but this car will definately win the hearts of you when you see this in the flesh the pictues just do not do the car full justice!! I will send Gary H the final pics in a week or so cmon Gary you have come this far another couple of pics wont hurt!! ha ha |

Great to hear, looking forward to seeing the fiished article. Maybe now is a good time to ask Rory to update his website regarding the LM600...
"The LM600 race car won the British GT Championship in 1995, 4 cars were built as homologated race cars, but not produced in road going form. " |

Boycey, have you tried contacting any of the car mags? I suspect they'd be very interested in this, what with it coinciding with the 50th anniversary,
& also the fact that you have pictures available over the rebuild lifecycle. I wouldn't recommend MaxPower but there's plenty of other mags out
there - it's classic car porn material, dear chap!

Yes quiff i was planning to do this soon, Jeremy Kearns has a contact with a classic car mag, i was going to send an article to EVO magazine ( got to be front
cover!) and track and road car magazine also, there are quite a few sports car mags so i will just mail drop half a dozen and see what happens. But yes your
right its not for max power!! LOL.
