I did provide the year and chassis number. The bumpers I got are a bit generic, they appear to be interchangeable from left to right. They do not have the long curved bit at the inner end, merely a symmetrical blob. Are these actually correct for my car, or are MHS just making life easier for themselves with a new universal front bumper set? I really like the more dramatically styled bumpers.

Registered Member Posts: 85 Tue, 10-Feb-2009 17:44	Pics I have seen of cars similar to mine seem to show the bumpers having the tall vertical bar at the inner end. When did they change? Are these just a simplified replacement part or not? It's not like an exchange is simple from over here in the colonies! I was told these bumpers were made up for me as they are not kept in stock, they did have my chassis number.

Hmmm, I rather like the original "Bumpers", I think they add a unique styling accent. They are clearly a joke, thin fiberglass attached to more thin fiberglass. But since they are required here for street driving they will reduce the number of tickets I get by some fractional amount. I may be able to make up the small thin vertical bars I feel are missing.

(Don't tell the shill's!) The seller admits they need some work, not a problem as I am fairly expert at fiberglass. I will probably make moulds myself since these are not readily available. Postage will probably equal the purchase price!

Guess that's why I set up a separate e-mail just for use with eBay and Pain-Pal. At least I should now be able to purchase my Marcos bits somewhat easier. If only safe Shipping could be made as easy!
