Good idea with the larger headlamp covers, Colin. I'd like to give that a try. I had a bodyshop over this week to have a look and give an estimate.
I told the guy that i wanted a rubber free front end and he's going to estimate for modifying the bonnet around the headlamp openings. I'll
give him a call tomorrow to tell him about the larger covers. May work out cheaper doing it the way you suggested.
2 bodyshops came over to see the car and only 1 of them would agree to do some figures. The other firm took one look and turned it down flat.
I'd have thought that in todays economic climate that a business would grab at any work offered to them, not pick and choose.
The bloke left my place with a real attitude, like i'd wasted his time.
