Upto 4000 rpm, the engine is just fine. Usual torque, just perfect.
But when all hell ought to break loose (at 4000 rpm) the engine starts stuttering, misfiring and looses all power.
My first guess was that there was a problem in the fuel supply.
So I connected a pressure gauge to the valve on the fuel line (with a 2 meter tube
The tricky part was to read the gauge while accellerating
Anyway: 40 psi all the way, even when I hit the dreaded 4000 rpm stutter....
Anybody know what I can still check ? Which sensor, which vacuum line, which magic piece of cabling ?
I really wouldn't want to come all the way to the 50th anniversary with max 4000 rpm
