Last weekend Cor did win both races and did score many points especially because in the Saturday race Martin Short in the works-Mosler DNF because of an accident in the first corner.
Sunday in extremly wet conditions we saw again Cor in first place and the Mosler starting from the very last place could finish second with 26 seconds behind Cor. Short did drive excellent but with all the water on the track he had never a real chance to win the race.
So Cor could score more points than expected and is leading quite comfortable the championship. Gary will surely show within the next days some of his great pictures from this weekend. Great to meet the Morrison´s in the pits who made it all the way from Le Mans to Spa to support the Marcos International Team.
Bad News: Assen in 3 weeks time will be the last time we see the LM600 Evo on the track. But anyway winning the championship in the year of the 50th anniversary of Marcos would be simply great and many thanks to Cor and the Marcos International Team. Very sad to see the LM600 Evo finishing life on the grids of the world with probably the most successful Marcos driver ever. Will be worth watching the races in Assen and everybody is welcome by the team to join the races in the pits.
