Forgot to mention to all those who've booked tickets for the party that this is a sit down dinner and the organisers have requested smart attire, jackets
for the gents even!! So, you might have to forgo a bottle of wine or a few bottle of beer to make way for the change of clothes. Sorry, I don't make the
rules and I'm sure it will be a very good event.

Where is the dinner and so on? I think I might be 45mins from the track... Hope we are all sitting together, but the current Mrs Marcos will not be attending though

By the way, track laps ARE transferrable. How about we keep them within the marque if the situaton arises and observe the order of who applied - I think Isobel
is the only one who will know that. I think I'm probably last on the list but we ought to do it properly.
From SELOC - "They are transferable, you will be issued a sticker, those with the sticker will get track laps. Those without, won't. So, assuming yours is going and you can get a ticket.....see you there!" Good to know and hope springs eternal. I am now going to spend the rest of the evening trying to persuade a non-Marcos owner to sell theirs to me

There is a pace car that you cannot overtake - that is it! If you are stuck right behind the pace car, then you're stuck - however if you find yourself a
long way back from it, who knows what you might get up to...
I suppose it will also depend on the pace car driver - have been chatting to Lotus types, some have had to convoy round fairly slowly, some have been flat out as the pace car shoots off into the distance! |

I wasn't doubting the booking, was just looking at the website just to see what other clubs/makes/manufacturers would be there and noticed that Marcos are

For the avoidance of doubt, the reason that Marcos is not mentioned on the list is that we have never attended as a group before and it was too late to change
the information for the event. The list of Clubs attending can be accessed by going to the Classic Le Mans website and going into the dedicated Clubs area -
the password is 'bugatti-sesame'.
